Fresh air controlled by proper ventilation is necessary for the good health of a building’s occupants and the health of the home. So, today’s energy efficiency standards call for a tighter home…so much so that fresh air ventilation cannot be assumed. ASHRAE 62.2 standards dictate the minimum air changes needed in newly constructed residences. With the standard that is now code in many states, a controlled Fresh Air Ventilation System is required.
The iO Fresh Air Ventilation Systems offered by Jackson Systems meets these requirements of ASHRAE 62.2 by delivering fresh air automatically and efficiently.
The iO Fresh Air Ventilation Systems (iO-FAV) delivers fresh air into a building through an intake damper controlled by a micro-processor logic panel. The iO-FAV has single adjustment setup, exhaust fan control option, outdoor temperature and/or humidity limit option and damper override capabilities. The iO-FAV comes with a 20VA transformer and 6” round damper. The control panel is available separately (iO-FAVPAN) and can be ordered with additional size dampers.
The iO Fresh Air Ventilation Systems are inexpensive and easy-to-install.
