Jackson Systems Employees Organize Scouting STEM Event in Indianapolis

A STEM event hosted by Jackson Systems’ Specified Group Employee and Cub Scout Pack Leader, Mike Lee, was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church this week. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM is part of an initiative the Boy Scouts of America have taken on to encourage the natural curiosity of youth members and their sense of wonder about these fields through existing programs
Jane Jackson, wife of Jackson Systems CEO, Tom Jackson, also helped by developing the activities of this event which included making electrical circuits with Playdoh and building circuits with multiple devices mounted on blocks of wood.
Several hundred local children attended the event and enjoyed some very enjoyable learning experiences much thanks to the Cub Scout Pack and its volunteers.
