When you give to Groh Foundation, you are making a life changing donation to a fellow contractor in desperate need. This is because Groh Foundation scholarship recipients have suffered life-altering injuries or accidents and no longer have the ability to go back to their way of life as a plumber, HVAC contractor, remodeler, electrician or other tradesman or tradeswoman.
Here is one of so many of the people Groh has helped — or will help — with a donation, like the one Jackson Systems made at Service World Expo last week. Joseph S. Groh writes,
“On behalf of everyone at the Foundation, I want to thank you for your donation last week at Service World Expo. Your ongoing support helps us assist people like the young woman from Dallas we recently encountered. She was an electrician who wired low voltage systems for HVAC before e an auto accident rendered her a quadriplegic. Because of that, she literally has to take a shower outside (of her home) because they are in need of a bathroom remodel – which they will soon have thanks to donations such as yours. Thanks you!”
Jackson Systems sees our contribution as an honor, not a donation. It is an honor to serve the contractors who have served us as technicians in our own homes, employees, relatives, and/or friends in the industry.
A bathroom remodel is something we all have done to improve our homes. Can you imagine how something like that will benefit this young lady? It will be life-changing for her in improving the quality of her life. What we take for granted, these recipients value so much more. A small gift that supports the needs of contractors like this one is why Groh does what they do.
